6th grade - Extra activity for you to practice at home

Adding and subtracting mixed numbers:
It is not mandatory for you to solve these exercises. However, I would highly encourage all of you to try them out at home so you can practice.
If you wish to have my guidance while solving them, feel free to come see me during recess, after dismissal or spare time. Make sure you have the practice with you and be ready to work! :)
I hope you are all using your time wisely! Remember that this semester is almost over and it would be wise to start getting ready and preparing for the midterms. Dont leave all the studying until the last minute.. It will be too much work and you will feel exhausted. It would be a lot better if you all start preparing yourselves ahead of time, so when the time comes you are all relaxed and ready to give your best :)
Best of luck!

7th grade - Extra activities for you to practice at home

Here are two worksheets adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers with common and different denominators. This is a good way for you to practice finding the LCM when solving and the GCF when simplifying.
If you wish to solve these exercises with my guidance, I am more than willing to help you all. So feel free to come see me :)
I hope you take advantage of this tool!

To all my 7th graders

When we meet again, I will explain what will happen with the homework that has been assigned today for this current week.
I would also encourage all of you to start working on your study guide and/or practice for the midterm exam. I understand that the topics are not out yet, but regarding Math, it will cover everything we have done since day 1 this school year. So an idea would be to check your notebooks and start practicing. Dont leave it til the last minute. Remember time is precious! So use yours wisely! ;)
