6th grade homework for Thursday Nov. 1st, 2012

Your homework for tomorrow you already started it in class. So basically all you need to do is complete your work in your notebook.

This is the last week we will be working converting mixed numbers to improper fractions and viceversa. Make sure you continue practicing at home. Remember that Math is learned through practice, and that every topic is related to the next. So we must never forget or leave behing what we have learned.

Ex. 21 - 26 p. 113

21. Tracey worked a total of 345 min. on a project. Use mixed numbers to write the time in hours.
Remember there are 60 minutes in an hour.

Write each improper fraction as a whole or mixed number. Simplify when possible.
22. 42/7
23. 27/12
24. 20/3
25. 125/5
26. 84/12

Remember to study for the quiz we have on Friday. Although it is open notebook, check to see if you have your notebook complete and with the correct process.

Have a great afternoon!
