7th grade CHALLENGE!

Hello 7th graders!
Here is an opportunity for you to make 2 extra points for the upcoming test. These challenging word problems must be turned in by Friday 7:45AM. After this time I will receive it only for you to know how you did on them but with no extra points.
Make sure you read instructions carefully and solve as you are being asked.

1. The bottom of a ladder must be placed 3 feet from the wall. The ladder is 12 feet long. How far above the ground does the ladder touch the wall?

2. A soccer field is a rectangle 90 meters wide and 120 meters long. The coach asks players to run from one corner to the corner diagonally across. What is this distance?
