Our first challenge!!

The following challenges are due on Wednesday September 5th, 2012.. BEFORE 7:30am in NERUDA.
Challenges are meant to be handed in on a separate paper showing all your work handwritten.
Rember challenges are not mandatory, they are for bonus points and for those of you who wish to go the extra mile :)

At Tony's Shoppe, the turkey sandwich contains 5.5 ounces of sliced turkey. Tony has a boneless turkey breast weighing 154 ounces. How many turkey sandwich can Tony make?

7th grade:
For what values of x is x+5 = x + 6 + 9 true? EXPLAIN and show at least two example.
